Season 2009 Calendar:
Round 1 - Brands Hatch Grand Prix (UK)

One of the most iconic sporting venues in the world, Brands Hatch can lay claim to being the busiest race circuit in Europe. The Kent circuit attracts some of the biggest international events on the calendar, including World Superbikes, the World Touring Car Championship, DTM and the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport.
The 4.25KM mile Grand Prix circuit was constructed in 1959 and held the British Grand Prix many times during the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties with many motor racing legends having won at the circuit, including Stirling Moss, Jim Clark, Jack Brabham, Emerson Fittipaldi and Ayrton Senna.

Round 2 - Zandvoort (Netherlands)

Situated just 20 miles West of Amsterdam and nestled in the sand dunes adjacent to the beach, Zandvoort packs an unlikely amount of gradient in a country not known for its peaks. At 4.2KM, the circuit is a challenging mix of hairpins, blind crests and very fast sections.
Zandvoort was opened in August 1948 and just a year latert hosted the Zandvoort Grand Prix. The following year, the race was called the Dutch Grand Prix, and it was included in the Formula One World Championship in 1952. It remained on the F1 calendar for 30 out of the next 34 years. In 1985, the Dutch Grand Prix was held for the last time. The circuit is another to host A1GP World Cup of Motorsport.
Schedule – Saturday 23rd – 20 minutes free practice, 20 minutes qualy Sunday 24th – 2 x races (12 laps/25 minutes maximum each)

Hockenheim was built in 1932 and is of course home to the German Grand Prix. It’s probably the circuit that will always live in the memory of Lotus enthusiasts as Jim Clark was sadly killed hear during a Formula 2 race in 1968.
After many changes to the original circuit the current configuration is 4.6KM long and has one of the highest spectator attendances of all circuits on the F1 calendar.

Round 4 - Donington Park Grand Prix (UK)

Opened in 1931, Donington Park is one of Britain's most popular racing circuits. It is the home of the British Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP) and will be the next home for the British Grand Prix from 2010, maybe...
The 4KM Grand Prix circuit is is located just off the M1 and is very close to East Midlands Airport.
Schedule – Friday 14th – Track day – 3 hours open pit lane run by LoT, all those who entered the opening 3 rounds of LCE get free entry. Other LCE entrants can drive for just £99 against the advertised rate of £125 thanks to sponsorship
Saturday 15th – Qualifying – 9.15am - Race 1 – 11.45am - Race 2 – 15.50pm.

Round 5 - Dijon Prenois (France)
4th - 5th September
A spectacular 3.8KM circuit that was built in 1972, Dijon-Prenois is one of Europes top driver circuits with corners coming in quick succession. The circuit has hosted six F1 GP's, including the Swiss GP in 1982. The first being in 1974 and won by Ronnie Peterson in a Lotus 72E.

A last minute addition to the 2009 calendar this round is part of the World Touring Cars and Formula 2 meeting at this famous circuit, previously home to the San Marino Grand Prix.

Round 6 - Spa Francorchamps (Belgium)

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is arguably the greatest race circuit in Europe, if not the World. Spa held the Belgium Grand Prix in 1924 for the first time when it was a monstorous 15KM long circuit using the local roads.
The current 7KM configuration has possibly the most famous section of all, Eau Rouge. Mention Blanchimont, Pouhon, Ravage, La Source, Stavelot and the Bus Stop and you send shivers down the spin of any motor racing fan.
Schedule – Friday 2nd – 20 minutes free practice & 20 minutes qualifying, Saturday 3rd – 20 minute race, Sunday 4th – 30 minutes race. (Lotus & Caterham only trackday on Thursday 1st)

In 1906 The French held the very first Grand Prix for manufactures over a 64-mile course near Le Mans and that event put Le Mans into motor racing folklore and legend, and the place will make the heart of any car enthusiast beat faster.
The 4.2KM Bugatti circuits undulating track has a wide variety of challenging corners and wide run off with the main arena for arguably the World's greatest race the Le Mans 24hr and it's modern facilities.
Schedule – Saturday 24th – 20 minutes free practice, 20 minutes qualifying, Sunday 25th – 2 x 20 minute races.
