Lotus Cup Europe 2008
The Lotus Cup Europe Series, now in its 5th year, started in 2004 as a direct response to customer and Lotus Dealer interest in a ‘fun’ but professionally - run motorsport series in Europe. The series is designed to offer Lotus owners the opportunity to experience some fantastic European circuits with like-minded enthusiasts. There are two different types of competition offered: Race and Regularity.
New Lotus Sport Exige Cup 260
In February 2008, Lotus Sport unveiled the new Lotus Exige Cup 260. This car is a direct development of the 2007 Exige Cup Car, with a revised engine management system taking the power output up by nearly 5 hp to 257 hp. Bespoke performance enhancements offer a car with great levels of handling and acceleration, taking the car to an estimated sub 10-second 0-100 mph speed. Also, in traditional Lotus style, weight saving is paramount. Weighing in at just 928 kg, the power to weight ratio is an impressive 271 hp / tonne, which in all makes a superlative track car.
100 Miles Trophy Race
The 100 miles race series offers Lotus enthusiasts with a professional licence, the opportunity to race their Exige Cup or 2-Eleven cars at some of
