Event Information
Circuit Zolder was built in 1963 as Belgium’s first purpose-built circuit. It borders the Albert Canal which connects Antwerp with Liège.
An outstanding track to kick off the season, Zolder is a technical course perfectly suited to engage the Lotus’ handling characteristics.
The undulating track is encapsulated by woodland which offers both racing thrills and the feel of a vintage Grand Prix, and indeed, Zolder hosted the Belgian GP on 10 separate occasions in the 70’s and 80’s.
