Hockenheim 21-22 April 2023

Event Information

Located close to Mannheim and Frankfurt, Hockenheimring is situated in the beautiful Rhine valley.

Although opened over 90 years ago now in 1932 the first Grand Prix took place in 1970 where future Lotus World Champion Jochen Rindt came away the winner. Formula One races have been hosted here abundantly since, the latest in 2019.

For Lotus enthusiasts the circuit is of course most famous for the accident which took Jim Clark’s life on 7 April 1968. With a brace of World championships for Lotus Clark was arguably the greatest ever racing driver, definitely so for those with Lotus in their hearts.
